Fixing my Roomba dock

Suddenly my roomba vac robot has stopped charging. With a multimeter I checked the power adaptor, and it seems to be giving 22V (21.5 according specs) When I measure my dock the input is also 22V, but on the contacts (connected to the vacuum bat.) it shows only 2V.

What could be the problem. What do I need to measure.

hi there
welcome to the forums :)

is it still under warranty ? if so return it

how about some sharp and well lit pics so we can all see what you are talking about
show us in the pics where you are measuring and what the voltages are at those points

cheers

Check the battery voltage. It is possible that the battery is internally shorted.

There's probably a lot of other things it could be, but I'd go for that one first.

No warranty, no battery installed. Just the home base that is not working.
I hope the pictures are good enough. Had to use my phone.
At the second pic the red and black wires (ones above) are giving me 22.5V
But the wires below that give 2V. Can't imagine it charges a battery with 2V.

there is no jack in my roomba. it does not charge my battery.
that is why I took my multimeter and measure the voltage.

btw the dock green led blinks once per 3 sec.

Ok...so it is something internal then.
I disassembled the roomba, and it seems that the contacts from the battery on the pcb (and docked) are the same voltage as the battery. From my old electronics understanding the voltage should be higher as it is charging.

Any ideas. I noticed one diode that is 120ohms, while the others are 5-10ohms.
