Depends on what the cage is for. EMI testing, or HV testing, etc..

For EMI testing, you can cable over to a place where you can obtain a
ground.

For high power RF, a cable should also be appropriate enough.

That relates to power, not a mere grounding of a cage being used as an
RF shield/trap.

fine at any potential...
