I was quite interested. Usenet threads rarely stay confined to the
parameters set by the OP, and the side discussions sometimes throw up
useful nuggets of information.

Even more fundamentally flawed than that.

Yep- the flyback and cut-off are all messed up. It must be off a website like that one-transistor LED flasher circuit.

that it doesn't, and that you're trying to defend your self-image. Good
luck with that. Depression can be a debilitating illness - as I well
know from personal experience, so I have the number for a good pshrink
if you need one.

Actually, Sylvia, I think your analysis was right on target. ISTM that
you have been tactful and a good contributor to the group. Fred is not
usually this obnoxious, so maybe he is off his medication. I suspect you
