Electrical stove on DC?

The element itself is no problem, but there is certain to be AC related circuitry involved that may preclude it being used totally on DC.

The solar panels should deliver 1000w, the stove is rated with 700w.
If a cloud would pass and the current would go down, could there anything else happen than the stove running colder?

It's just resistive so should be no problem.

Plus: The switches and possibly relays within the oven are designed to operate on AC, specifically with respect to their turn-off capability: When a strong current is interrupted (turned off) it tends to create an arc across the contacts. With DC, a comparatively low voltage is sufficient to sustain the arc and the contacts will burn away (you're lucky if it's only the contacts). With AC the repetitive zero crossings of voltage and current help to turn of fthe arc.

What about this? (depending on your budget of course)..
Solar panel charges lead acid battery(s).
Battery supplies power to power inverter of 110VAC with sufficient current rating (1KW or more).
