Edifier X600 Sub-Woofer NoSound (beat)

I have Edifier X600 2.1 System, but the problem is that my Satellite Speakers are working fine but my Sub-woofer is not working (no beats). :-(

A friend of mine told me that usually there comes problem of "IC", I being student of Elect.Engg (4th semester ) want to repair my woofer my self.

So I opened my Sub-Woofer and got black marks on my heat sink of three IC,
The IC in that heatsink are:

UTC 2030 x 2
TDA 2050 x 1

Now I want to ask what should I do ???

And also tell me how to check a IC whether it is working or not using DMM or any other simple method ...

Help Me (P.S Iam going to buy these 3 IC's tomorrow)
