Door bell and camera problem

I’m a beginner of electronic, need to learn a lot. I know I can hire some one to do it, but this is very interesting project I would like to learn.


My door bell power supply is 18 volt DC. and my camera is power up with 12 volt DC. how can I use them together ?

Your door bell is probably feeded from a spechial transformer, that is AC voltage - so there will be two separate systems.

My door bell name is Skydoorbell. And the old one is AIPHONE JF -2ME
I want to use both cause sky bell can connect to iPhone aap and the other is not and it have monitor in the House only.

Yes. But the old one is supply by 18 volt DC 2Amp.
The new one need only 12 volt.

Tell us the amperage or wattage ratings of the bell and camera.

You may be able to use your18vdc power supply to feed the doorbell and tap off of it with a Lm7812 regulator to feed your camera.
Current ratings are rather important, unless you don't care if the camera drops out when someone rings the doorbell.
