I would like to build a battery pack that produces both 12 and 5 volts - I think USB is 5 volts and my tablet needs 12 v to charge, or at least to use. I would like to have some way to know the status of the battery, whether it is an lcd panel showing numbers or a system of 4 or 5 lcds that are lit accordingly. Has anyone seen either plans for this or a kit? I want to use LiFe batteries.
