Dielectric barrier discharge lamps, information needed

Hello,

Can anybody tell me links about lamps (like the osram planon lamp) which are
working on the DBD princip?
Need basic information how they work, physical/electrical basics about DBD
and furthermore about the planon lamp (know already the osram website).

A number of papers on dielectric barrier discharges were presented
last week at the 10th Intern atonal Symposium on the Science and
Technology of Light Sources in Toulouse. See www.ls-symposium,org for
more info, but you will probably find only titles and some abstracts.

I suggest a Google search on "dielectric barrier discharges." There
is a lot of information already on the Web. If that is not enough, go
to a good college library and search the INSPEC database for articles
in scientific journals.
