Desperate: Part Needed For Sony SLV-940 VCR
Hi, I bought a sony slv 940 with remote on line, I was told it was working perfect. Well I had to buy the right remote, clean it, and I found a broken part on the cassette holder, I have searched the web called sony, trying to find the part, no luck, then I found this group. The white plastic like part is located on the right side of the cassette tape holder it is a type of rocker arm, it holds a round spring with straight ends that fit into the rocker arm, it is about a inch down from the the top of the cassette holder on the right side, it fits into the white plastic like housing of the cassette holder. You can not miss it. I am looking for someone who may have a non-working 940 and will part it out. I will buy the part, it just pulls out, or whole cassette holder, there are just four screws holding it in. or please let me know where I may locate this part, I do not have a service manual for a part number. That was to be included also but....Please see jpeg
