For you electronic whizzes out there, can you help me?
I want to keep the local deer from using my garden as a salad bar. I think a motion detecting water sprinkler is a good idea but they cost $50 or more and I think I have all the parts I need just laying around.
A First Alert sensor switch PIR740, a Rainbird water valve 24vac, a 24vac power supply and an electrical connector.
I have tested the valve and 24vac power supply and that works. But I don't know how to set up the parts to work together. I just want to run a water hose and extension cord out to the garden, plug in the components and sprinkle any munching deer that comes around.
The parts on the left are the First Alert inside switch, sensor and guts that the outdoor light and sensor is connected to.
Thanks for any help you can render.
