Decent Equip

For years I worked as a mobile electronics installer. In those days all you really needed was a 12 volt test light. More and more I find myself dealing with circuitry and basics I never studied. I'm looking for a decent quality multimeter that won't set me back an arm and a leg. I have some with continuity testers that are barely audible, or give changing readings when I'm trying to find the impedance of a speaker. Any recommendations?

The market is 'flooded' with good value meters right now and all the 'talk' is around the Aneng range where, if you get this model, you can't really go wrong and at $20 delivered(!) yo won't find better value.

to find the impedance of a speaker, you need an impedance meter ( this ISNT a multimeter in Ohms range)

Okay, thanks. I do have meters with impedance measures on them, but they don't work well. Those are dinky toys that were made in China and cost less then twenty dollars. I spent a bit more on a Tenma, but that broke rather quickly.
