Where can I find data on japanese diodes and other Japanese devices? Transistors
are easy, just type 'japanese transistor data' on Google...
Any on-line cross-reference sites?
Getting replacements from NTE is near out of luck, as I am in Brazil.
Thanks!!!!
Most diodes break down into a few groups. There are rectifiers, signal
diodes, zeners, and germanium signal diodes, to name a few. If you like
NTE, well, one size fits all, so to speak. Like 1N914 or 1N4148 for
signal diodes, 1N4005 or similar for 1A rectifiers, and of course zeners
are whatever value of voltage you need. 1N4728 or upwards, I believe
for 1 watters. Just about any Ge diode could be replaced by a 1N270.
