Daewoo DVG-3000N DVD Player

I have a DVG-3000N that reads "LOAD" in the display once you power on
the DVD player. Power supply voltages all check okay, no cold solder
joints visible anywhere. The motors don't even try to operate. Its
like the unit is dead other than the display being lit. I even tried
unplugging the 40 pin cable of the DVD drive but I have the same
fault. Have anyone seen a similar problem with this unit? Any help
is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
