DAB problem with JVC audio ux-d457s

Hello,
I got this item second hand and neither DAB or FM do not work.
DAB says "no DAB" even if I move the aerial, and the FM scans but I can't get any sounds.
what can I do?

Where do you live? Are there actually any DAB broadcasts where you live? Its coverage isn't 'complete' (across the UK).

You may need an externally mounted antenna.

I checked and my area is covered,
I live in West London and severage stations are available.

kinda' suspect why it was 'second hand' now......

Can you get a refund? Or was it 'sold as seen'? You might be stuck with it. Fixing it may be possible but will require test equipment and some tools.
