Does anyone know which laser is used in the above machine?
I suspect the dvd400 probably uses the same, though the deck has some improvements, being made of metal.
The deck is made in Taiwan by CIS Technology Inc., who's web site I cannot penetrate owing to being unable to read Chinese!
The decks in the machines have model number DP02CD.
I have a feeling that the laser is a Sanyo type, having a 24 pin output cable, but the absolute type needs to be known of course.
Advice would be greatly appreciated as I've already replaced the faulty laser deck motor and am still unable to read dvds.
