things like the make and model of TV would be really helpful if you want some one to help you

have you googled for service manual or at least a schematic ?

Without a schematic to reference to what do you expect us to advise? Or should we just guess? I can't find any reference to match the details you have already given. Unless you can show us a picture of the board or the diagram we're pretty much in the dark.

Have you checked the sync pulses to the board?

I guess if you are using a PCB that wasn't meant for that deflection yoke then theres a mismatch, & it wont work

@walid ahmed when you are able to supply make and model of the TV you are working on
PM me and I will reopen the thread

There is no point in all of us playing 20 questions if you are not going to supply the needed info

Ok dear...i failed to give u any info about the tv....close the thread and just tell if the horz shorted yoke can prevent the tv to turn on?

Sir walid ahmed . . . . .

You say . . .
The crt tv cant display horizontally.

This pic below is showing a problem with the sets HORIZONTAL CIRCUITRY or the yoke
A quite rarely occurring condition . . . . .

TV+Linea+Vertical+Sin+Barrido+Horisontal.jpg

If you have the MUCH MORE COMMON problem, where the bright white line will be ACROSS the screen from left to right, instead of UP and DOWN, as is shown in my 1st picture.
THAT will be a VERTICAL problem.

Now which is it.?

Also, does the sound always remain on ?

You say . . .
The HOT and yoke coils are ok.....when horizontal yoke coil connected then the tv dont turn on...when removed then it ONs.

Are the hoz and yoke connections being SEPARATE . . . . two pin . . . . plug in connectors ?.
