Could use some experts insight into identifying connector type.

Hi,

I need to create a physical space between two PCBs for a new project. But I'm having trouble to identify the type of connector used on the prints. I would prefer making a cable using compatible connectors over soldering directly on the boards. The connector resembles the one used in a MacBook Pro connecting the HDD to the motherboard, so they must be out there.
Extensively but fruitless searching the web trying to identify the connector, landed me here asking for your help.
So is there anyone who recognise the connector or who could point me in the right direction?
Much appreciated...

P.

I've attached two images of the PCBs.

Hi, I have also been searching too.
The closest I could find was mobile phone ribbon connectors.

More specifically, the iphone lcd to pcb connectors.

Or something like this..Picture

The search terms F4S socket seem to give better results for a similar connector.

And that is my Ex Spurt findings.
