Hi people,
Recently, my old cordless phone stopped receiving telephone line audio. I opened it to see one transistor blown off due to lightning. I called customer care, the "experts" there told it is an old device so they cannot repair it. I decided to do it myself, checked a lot on internet, could not find the component and reached here.
Below are the details:
Device-Panasonic cordless phone KX TG 6442. Could not find the schematic anywhere as it is an old device.
Fault and history-one transistor was blown due to lightning. There was no telephone line connectivity. Then I replaced it with a 547, the tel line started working but it the line doesn't reset when we press the 'SPEAKER' button. That means, my phone is always in the 'receiver off cradle' state, gives a busy signal always.
I cannot see the specs printed on the transistor as that is chipped off.
Could you please let me know what is the transistor number or if I can replace with another component?
Thanks!
