convert a toggled input to a pulsed output

Hi all.
I'm trying to turn a toggle switch input into a pulse. The best way I can think to explain it is to say I want the opposite of a toggle latch. Here's some waves for your enjoyment:

input: _______-----------------------------------______--------------___

output: _______^___________________^______^_______^__

I think I'd be able to do my own research on this, I just need a name to Google - I'm not sure what it's called. Jog my memory please?
