convert a 3 phase 1 hp ac motor to 12 vdc

Trying to make my oil well run of of 12 vdc. I have a 3 ph 1 hp AC motor and I want to run this off grid. Looking into a set up of a VFD and deep cell, batteries and also,while the well is pumping add a alternator with solar back up to charge the batteries..Suggestions are appreciated. Shawn

To run a 3ph 1hp from 12vdc you would need a 12v/240v 1ph invertor, or whatever the motor voltage is.
Most VFD's will also run from a 240/300vdc source as the input is a 3ph rectifier.
The alternative is a 12vdc motor from a bumper winch etc.

And what is the power source for the alternator? Perhaps you can use the pumped crude to run a small diesel engine? Or burn it to operate a steam engine? Why would you even need an alternator if you have solar to charge batteries? How many wells do you have, and what is the distance between them? How deep is the well, and how many gallons per hour do you pump from it? That will determine how much motor you need and the battery capacity and the solar panel size.
