constant duty solenoid as isolater?

Hey guys,

Napa auto parts has a continual use solenoid that closes when energized.
I'm thinking this would work well as a switch/isolater on the main charging
line between my alternator and battery bank. I'll tie into my vans ignition
switch so it is only active when the engine is running. The nice thing is
it's designed for battery cables, and only $20. Sound good???
