Component kits

I have been thinking to buy one of these kits to get some diffrent components that could come in handy later:

Those components can be bought for less than half the price.
If you want a quick buy, go for it.
I would have several quick buys and buy it all for £5.
No box included though!!! They cost too much...

Storageboxes are no problem, i have a few collecting dust at the moment.

Absolutely..
100 LEDs for £0.99,
375 transistors for £3.75,
600 resistors for £1.69,
200 capacitors for £2.50......

That is just to begin... You can get cheaper too..

Don't forget a breadboard £1.69... and leads £0.74
You now have 30 times what that packet was selling!

Thx, been looking around allready and it seems i am going to get more than the kit for half the price indeed.

What i save by doing this i can invest in more components

Any tips on what components i surely need to get (that are not in that kit's list but are must haves?)

Really depends on what your first projects will be!
Most start with LEDs. Then getting that to flash. This can be done with simple components in that list or with a LM555 timer. Then with a CD4017...
So you could add those to your list.
And some trim pots. These..
