Combining the Hotplate off a broken stirrer onto a working stir plate with no burner

I came across a 220v hotplate/stirrer that a guy had ran 110v until the motor went out, the hotplate side still worked. It's an old analog deal with a dial for heat and one for stir speed.

my little digitalhomebrew stir plate works great but has no hotplate I want to either put the thermal element on top of the other stirrer

i have the stands to set it on top but dont know how to wire it up (running a separate power supply is fine, beneficial even) I have the whole device but in components, so i'm thinking power to fuse to potentiometer to thermal element but I'm not comfy with the 220v device running 110v, I'm not trying to start a fire or get electrocuted, i'm just wanting to use what i have to save cash i can't afford.
