Greetings all
I am new to soldering and electronics repairs, and I am trying to find out if a rotary encoder
I am trying to replace is color coded according to impedance ( or some other metric).
I cannot find a repair manual on the device I am working on to confirm specs, so all
I have to go on is matching it to searched replacement parts based on form factor and color.
example , here is the part I found for sale..
4-PIN 10kΩ SNAP-IN PC-MOUNT POTS
and here is the pcb with the part I want to replace..
(yes that nasty PCB has been isopropyl'ed by now..)
I am willing to say it's a match, but I can't confirm it's a 10kΩ
but at around $20 for a new pair, just wanted to find out if more informed folks would concur
on the match..
thanks in advance for the input.
