Click "Bounce" on Logitech Mouse

I have a Logitech cordless mouse that has taken to sending
"double-click" when I single click.

I suspect a dirty contact, but I can't figure out how to disassemble
this dude. Looks like the plastic support structure for the buttons
should just snap out, but I'm reluctant to apply too much force.

Any ideas/experience with this mouse?

It should be disassembled from the bottom with screws hidden under the
label. You should be able to see where the screws are by an + in the label.
On certain types there is visible and not visible screws in a mix.

Thanks, Hans! All it took was rubbing the label with my fingernail to
find the screws. Thanks again!

Heh, heh.

I'm used to single clicking everything to get some action for years now,
using KDE.

I think you have found a solution already, but I also have had this issue,
someone had turned on under Tools then Folder Options the "Single Click to
open an item" and that gave me the same grief, I went and bought a new mouse
and had the same issue and took me a while to find.

So, there is a non-opening-mouse rationale as well

Mine is an *intermittent* issue, so it's mechanical.

Heh, heh.

I'm used to single clicking everything to get some action for years
now, using KDE.

I don't like to use the single click mode. This makes it easy to
accidentally open something that you do not want to open in case of
something serious, if you know what I mean...! I have seen users
accidentally open things that they did not want, and only wanted to
highlight it to move or delete it.
