clear trouble 4 without losing programming ?

I

I have a system giving a trouble 4. (I neglected to erase
pre-programmed communication numbers before I was testing the system).
I would like to clear this trouble, but from what I have read you need
to clear the whole system (power down and kill the batt). I really
don't want to lose all of the programming. Is there a way to get rid
of the trouble code without losing my programming ? I have already
disabled all of the numbers and communications in general. This is a
stand alone system. Thanks All.

About the only thing you'll have to reprogram is the system time. Power
the sucker down, for pete's sake!!!

heh, sorry. I'm still new at this (I only help churches and non-profits
fix thier systems up for free). I was under the impression the systems
memory would dump if all power was lost. Should have known the memory
was static. Thanks.

Most security and fire alarm panels these days use eeproms. On the flip
side, my memory's far from "static". A "reboot" there will almost
certainly guarantee my return as someone with the brains of a fish. ;-)
