Circuit Board Numbering / Compatibility

Hi,
I am trying to fix the water/ice dispenser on my Amana Fridge and it has a dead Dispenser Control Board.
Part number is 125592-4.
There are plenty of used parts on ebay but none have this exact number.
There are 125592-1 , 125592-3, 125592-6 and 125592-9.

I think the last digit is like a revision number, but how do I check if it is backwards compatible ?

Unfortunately, the only real test is to try it.
I'm the same as you, believing the last digit is revision number.
You could contact the manufacturer and ask what the differences are.

Thanks Marty,
I tried Amana technical support and they had no clue - identically the Boards look identical physically from the photos I can see, with the same components. I am think of trying the 125592-6 as it is a later number and closest to mine.
