I've got a Compac-19 that I would like to take and cruises along the
michigan/wisconsin shorelines. I want to be able to receive the XM
marine weather feeds and hopefully (but not required) have some ability
to pull this thing out and take it on the road (where my boat is stored,
I can't really leave it on deck anyway). I'd like to hook in depth to
the same display.
I'm not thrilled by the thought of buying Garmin, but it seems like the
Garmin 376C is just the ticket for this. I know I could do this with a
laptop but I want something in the cockpit, don't have a place for a
laptop in the cabin.
Are there any alternatives?
