Ceramic resistor

Hi all

I need help

I have a circuit and in the part list it says I need a 10 k ohm 1 amp resister.

I cannot find a Ceramic resister that tells me its 1 amp rated. How do I know I'm getting the correct rated part? They tell you the Watts and ohm's but no data an amps.

Use the calculator.

I = P / V

I = V / R

I would suggest that it is 1 Watt, not 1A. At 1 amp it would dissipate 10,000 watts, enough to heat a small house in the dead of winter
