Can i Erase last digit on the LCD screen? *I am a total newbie*

I kinda don't know how this closc works, but i have some ideas.
The question is, how can i erase the last minute digit (That it won't be shown on display ever again).

Simplest solution, non destructive and reversible:
Put a sticker on it...

I wanted to do it, i want it to remain number 1 all the time, so i thought if i could erase it an then add number 1 sticker on it.
If i do it while it is still working, then there is no point.

you have better explain more clearly what you are trying to achieve and why

4 x 7 Segments.
Are there any other symbols or items on the screen that turn on?
You do realize this uses hardly any current and should just be left alone.

Best case, you cut one wire to disable that position... worst case, you cut the wrong one and the whole thing dies or one of the 7 segments on EACH one of the positions will no longer work.
