Can Anyone Identify This Component?

Hi, can anyone please identify this component for me please? I believe it is a low power triac thyristor or something along those lines. It did have a 3rd lead but broke when I removed it to test. It came from a speakon output circuit on a Behringer PMP6000 mixing console. Unfortunately I cannot get any service manuals on these consoles, and the numbers I entered off of the component on Google has not returned any information. I would appreciate any information I receive.

The connections to the surviving device appear to be the same and consequently it is probably the same device.

Yes I do

OK, if it has a diode check range, measure each pair of leads (both ways) and tell us what you read for each.

For each measurement you'll have to tell us which lead the red probe is on, and which the black probe is on.

Do the same for the busted device too, there will only be two measurements.

Busted component as follows:

Blk - Centre Lead
= 848
Red - Right Lead


Good Component:

Blk - Centre Lead
= 850
Red - Right Lead

Measured the same on the left lead too

ok, its probably a transistor. What voltage is supplied to this circuit?

It is a A56 TRANSISTOR as per schematic.

I doubt that since none of the other components match. The T3 position on the board should be swarming with resistors for example.

@andomando you have given incorrect info ... you schematic doesn't match the circuit board shown by the OP

If you indeed have the service manual, then please show the correct part of the circuit

If it has a Triac and a 2 legged active part, it must be a DIAC
