bypassing the infrared garage door sensors?

Hello I am in need of bypassing the infrared safety sensors on garage
door opener, new model made by craftsman/sears. It uses some sort of
digital signal to detect. I believe its designed to not be easily
bypassed due to some sort of federal law.
