I have one of these radios from a friend because it has stopped working properly
I suspect that this is due to shorting in one of the push button switches because it has been used in dirty and greasy situations.

However, the first problem is really basic.
How do I open the case ?
There are no visible screws even inside the battery compartment.

I suspect that the two part imitation leather case simply clicks into place but it really doesn't want to shift.

Any suggestions ?
