Building AEON overdrive pedal from mammoth electronics, need help...

Okay, so as the title says I am building the AEON overdrive pedal from mammoth electronics (link below). However, I need a little advice on how to proceed.

So I finished adding resistors, capacitors, and diodes (etc) to the PCB, but I don't know how to connect the pots to the PCB. There are indicators for where I should connect the tone, volume, and gain pots but I'm not sure which one of my pots connects which of the indicators. There are pots marked: A500K, B100K, and B5K. Which of these pots performs which role?

On the other side of the PCB there are indicators for "AEON", "IN", "Out", "S5", "S6", "S4", "D5" and "Ground". What do each of these mean and how do I hook them up?

And more important:
If you have a circuit diagram and/or building instruction post them as well.
 
I found this assembly instructions.

You should use wires to connect these:
in =input jack
out =output jack
S4-S6 = switch connections.
GAIN = 500K
Tone = 5K
Vol = 100K

Direct connection :
D5 = dual color LED connections.

Hope that helps.

BTW,
If they charge 55$ for that thing,
it's an annoying reap-off...:mad:

Follow up question, there are three lugs for tone/gain/volume do I connect the right lug of the tone to the right arm of the pot, etc. ?

You should connect it the way it is shown in the pic .

It will effect the min-max rotation direction of the pot.
If you get it "reverse" simply swap the left and right wires.

But how/where do I ground the circuit to and the mod thing isn't necessary, right?

Also, the LED only has two prongs so what should I do about that ?

Ok, thanks but how do I solve the LED problem?
Mine only has two legs instead of the three described in your photo.

No need for the 'mod".
GND wires are shown in grey.

(the power polarity should match the wall-wart PS you use,
if there is marking on the box go by it)

Also where does the end of the 9v go, on the other nub of the stereo output? Sorry for so many questions...

Ok, here are some photos.
Blue = Input
Red = Output, LED
Green = Switch



FYI, I misplaced my actual LED so I used another LED I had. Also, I lost my IC chip so do you know if there are any good places to find IC chips that would work in this pedal.

Your work needs improvement, wires are stripped too much (see the pic below for examples).

Very important: swap the pots connections-they are not as shown in the instructions.
I would re-check the switch wiring as well.

Ok, thank you, are those the only problems that you see or is that just the tip of the iceberg. E.G. Is the LED set up semi-correctly?

Also, couldn't I just connect the ground to the ground lug of either the input or the output and if I didn't want to have a power jack couldn't I connect the negative from the snap to the non-used lug of the stereo jack?
