build your own cordless electric mower

Just an idea, how hard would it be to pop a battery and inverter
to a electric lawn mower to eliminate the cord. I know this
wouldn't be very cost effective if you had to purchase all the
components, but if you already had the deep cycle battery and
inverter how hard could it be?

Use a 12 v motor no inverter. I want to build a gas remote controled
mower.
