UK lamps (bulbs) for table-lamps and ceiling lights are usually bayonet
types. Does anyone know if the lamp sockets have a BSI number and what that
number is? I'm trying to source a drawing of the socket. Thanks.

After checking the GE Europe catalog at

The bayonet cap is listed as a B22 type.

or more specifically, B22d.

Lampholders are defined by BS EN 61184 (formerly BS 5042).
Don't know if it really only covers the lampholders, or the
lamp bases too.
