Bosch avantixx washing machine wont power up but resistor heats up

I have disconnected everything one by one and found the resistor only heats up
when i plug in the front control panel help with this would be appreciated

You need to provide a lot more information other than "a resistor heats up".
"wont power up" means what exactly?
Pictures would be good.

for some reason it wont let put up any photos but in the mean time the machine is completely dead when i plug it in so i pulled the bottom board out to have a look it all looks good apart from the resistor witch looked burnt so i plunged it back in turned on the power and no issues until i tuned the front panel to the on position then the resistor started smoking turn the dial off and it stopped after talking to other people they have had the same problem with the same machine i will keep trying to send photos as soon as i can find a kid to do it
