Bonding/Grounding Question

A question for anyone here familiar with Bonding and Grounding requirements
as relates to Machinery and Machine Tools.

If I have equipment with 480VAC and 24VDC, what are the Bonding and Gounding
requirements for a remote pushbutton box that only contains 24VDC and only
connects to the PLC and 24VDC power supply at the other end?

Citing an NEC article number or other code (UL508A, NFPA 79, etc.) reference
would be helpful and steer me in the right direction.

In general: protect the cable to the remote from physical damage.
If using metallic raceway for that, the raceway must be grounded.
If the remote push button box is metallic, it must be grounded.

The details of your installation and the location can make a
difference, thus the general answer.
