Hi,
I am new to electronics, and I love to play/learn via hands on
experience.
What I would like to do, is built a home brew power supply with
variable output. Eg. A power supply that I can set to output
anywhere from 1.5 v to 120 volts for common household items. For
instance... lets say I have a hand held driller that requires 4
batteries ( 1.5 volts 1AA battries ), I would like to connect the
driller to my home brew power supply to get its electricty and power
the device.
Is this possible? If so, has anyone done it? I know you can probably
purchase one, but I would like to attempt at least at making one if
the costs are not high. I have many spare parts from vcrs power
supply, etcs..
Thanks to everyone for your inputs
