Basic multisim - How do I know which pin number is what??? Help!

Hello

sorry if this is basic but I cant find the info online

I am using op amps in multisim. at the moment the lm13700N OTA

yes it has numbers on the pins but what are they?

when I go to properties / pins it tells me what pins are available (extremely unhelpful) but not what numbers they correspond to!

This is incredibly irritating so I would very much appreciate a pointer

Thanks, G

Do a Google Search for the Data Sheet of the LM13700.
multisim does not have a proper lm13700. the real one is an IC. multisim has some version that may be usable but I need to know what the pins are. the lm13700 has pin numbers that dont exist in mutisim

Years Ago, I bought a Professional Version of "Electronic Workbench", About $800.00 if I remember correctly.
Many circuit that work in real life Didn't work in the Simulations.
And VISA VERSA.

yes I agree. Im only using it because i need to check my calculations and I dont want to make a mess. ive made many circuits in multisim that didnt work, got frustrated and made the thing, only to find it worked just fine

I know nothing about Multisim, but did find this diagram (at this forum website) with pin numbers:

I used this Google result page. Does that help any? I generally avoid simulation and prefer building circuits with real components. After reading the datasheets of course. :D

Thanks

I have worked it out. for those who want t know...

double click on a component

go to "display"

tick "show symbol pin names"

its not very well displayed but its good enough.
