Basic LCD bidirectional power oscillator

Hello, this is my first thread and I am not too knowledgeable about electronics, could someone tell me how to make a simple LCD bidirectional power oscillator? I am planning on making my own 1x1" single pixel/segment LCD panel, and I am not sure how to do this. I know it requires a negative voltage because it is bidirectional. I heard they function around 50hz-100hz, but correct me if I am wrong.

Yes on the Hz - it would be better if you studied the basics of LCD manufacture and driving via a dedicate site such as this:
