I asked for possible causes of the Asus Eee battery drain problem. And a
person with some inside knowledge said:
"The drain is due to the processor (Celeron-M ULV 353)/hardware system
architecture."
"The BIOS identify's and initilizes system hardware along with managing the
ACPI interfaces, power management, and thermal management. It plays a direct
roll as to weather or not uppon shutdown, the system is actually completely
shutdown."
Anyone with Intel Celeron knowledge maybe can shed some light on this?
