Hi I am an artist and beginning maker. I am making a mixed media project that requires the use of EL wire and a series of leds with varying colors. I would like it to be AC power but DC will work as well. However, I would like it to all be attached to one on off switch. I will attach a rough drawing of the project, the first being a colored version of finished piece, then another with my idea where the wiring would be. Just an FYI it is a miniature VooDoo or New Orleans style mixed media on wood. Thanks for any help anyone can provide! I really appreciate it.

The EL lights will likely require a different power supply than the LEDs. I suggest you buy the respective power supplies off the shelf. Often the matching supplies are recommended on the sales page offering the lights.
Then attach the primary (mains) side of these supplies to a common switch. Easiest way to do this is a switchable extension cord, so you don't have to mess with mains wiring, which requires some expertise to be safe.

The EL wire come in various flavours with 5v USB and 12v type being appropriate for your project.
I’ll try to add links later.
The LEDs also come in various flavours. USB (5v), coin cell batteries and 12V which would be suitable for your project. Again, I’ll supply links later if I remember. But eBay search for EL wire and LED string will bring up thousands. Stay with 5V or 12V only.
An AC to DC power adapter of appropriate voltage and a switch.
