Are there any dangers associated with ceramic coated reptile heating bulbs?

Are there any dangers with ceramic coated reptile heating bulbs when placed overhead as a heat lamp?

What is the exact frequency that the ceramic coating is converting the light into, is this a dangerous wavelength for your eyes? Does the fact that it is diffused over the whole ceramic coating make it less of an issue?

What would a completely safe distance be in case you looked at it?

I don't know the wavelength, but I'd be concerned with the heat.
Make sure the lamp is nowhere near combustible materials, and the wiring to the fixture is rated for 90c.

OK thanks, I had planned to use it as an overhead heat lamp, do you think it would be effective or too far away to do much?

Ok thanks, it's a shame I thought it would be efficient because it is coated with ceramic which I believed generated far infrared which was as fairly efficient heater, for water for example or anything composed mainly of water.
