are 2 sony bravia motherboard interchangeable?

Hello there,

I have 26" sony bravia that has a broken LCD and I have 42" same brand that's no longer functioning properly. Can I switch the motherboard and other electronic pieces of this 2 TVs?

If you are lucky and tha TVs have the same boards, then it might work.

It certainly doesn’t for the JVC TVs that I have.

You have to try it and see if the firmware works on another TV.
