Arduino ide for commercial product development

5 Myths Everyone Believes about Arduino (that aren’t true)
https://www.baldengineer.com/5-arduino-myths.html

Few days ago i read this article. i am planning to launch some commercial product based on Atmega MCU's. I believe that their is nothing wrong with product development on atmega mcu with arduino ide.

People have lot of opinion about arduino, as they are saying arduino is open source then why to go with it. but here i posted this question from experts advice towards this topic.

As we know that arduino have lot of library and community support. We are also contributing it for fun and help over hackers (legal) community.

the number 3 myth is an absolute myth... so many electronic kickstarter campaigns - with engineers, uses some arduino. - its a matter of taste.

It depends on what you call "arduino". If you assume it is something that includes Arduino(tm) hardware then it is reasonably true. If you assume it refers to the software environment then it is not true. If you assume it means the ATMega chip then it is nonsensical.

The problem is, nobody really agrees about what "Arduino" means.
