I have in the long distance past.

Everything seemed fine until I got an order of SMD CMOS chips where about half were in a strip of tape (from a reel) and the other half were individually packaged, by hand, on small pieces of card with tape wrapped around them.

Shopping times were not overly fast either.

Thanks Steve,
Did you buy transistors(especially high-voltage 100V or more ) from them?
where they genuine parts?

Nothing high voltage. I can probably look up what I did buy from them, but I think the chips in question were 74HC86, but I may be wrong.

There was nothing about them which screamed fake. None of the parts I've subsequently used have proven to be non functional.

The only obvious fakes I've ended up with were a large lot of LM337's I purchased from the US during the GFC. I'm not sure what they are. They're marked correctly, but they sure don't work. But hey, they cost me something like 6 cents each, so no great loss.

I need some Japanese obsolete Trs for an old Fisher receiver :
2SC708A,2SA537A,2SC1030.
All claimed "brand new" are probably fakes ,"pulled" are shamelessly expansive.

Probably need equivalent replacements from a reasonably source.

It is those analog parts they love to fake,
If I get fakes it will cost me dearly in time, damage and frustration...don't want to take that path :(

I'm working on a unit that needs total restoration ,
since the guy that was in there before me did some very annoying things...

Futurlec seem to have a limited collection of parts. I would not be surprised if they have acquired stock from someone's excess stock.

They also may have discovered a source of fake parts.

Is it too good to be true?

Google "futurlec fake"
