The GOOGLE group thing sucks. If I remember, you have to join, have
passwords, yada, yada. I don't like to have to join anything to be part of

I agree. Google is broken and next to useless. It has been since just before
going public. CDNow became worthless after issuing shares... now the same
type of greed has ruined what use to be a useful Internet tool.
