Angle of view on minidome cameras

Hi all,

What sort of angle of view do you get with mini dome cameras (4 inch
or 6 inch dome). For example if I mount a dome 8ft high at the end of
a 100ft hallway, will I be able to adjust the camera high enough to
see the whole hallway. I 'm not concerning with focal lenght or
anything, but how far in degrees can these things be turned from a
vertical, or straight down position?

every mini dome i've used - you pretty well get 180 degrees of view in every
plane

mechanically the "camera" is mounted on a universal joint arrangement within
the housing giving full range of movement

You will be able to adjust the camera to see the hallway. Since the hallway
is 100 feet long though, you might want to consider a longer lens than the
ones (4mm) typically supplied with mini domes.
