I'm hoping to find and hire the right person to do a one-off electronics job for me...
Most people are familiar with the data imprinting function typical of countless 80's and 90's film cameras which would allow a photographer to burn the day, date, time and/or other info like sequential numbering into a film negative. This data would show up printed as red or yellow numbers on the resulting photographic print.
I'd like to hack the data back on a camera so it displays a single word (rather than the existing programmable day, date, time combinations), which would be like a signature for the photographs. I'd also like to retain the ability to turn data imprinting on/off from one photo to the next, but that's not essential.
I have an 80's Nikon L35AD camera I'd like to dedicate to this experiment and I am willing to pay a reasonable fee to someone who is both capable and curious enough to take it on.
Thanks.
